The China-America Vocational and Technical Education Council was created to promote the exchange of vocational and technical education resources between China and the United States.
China and the United States face the challenge of developing a wide range of vocational and technical programs that put students into economically viable jobs, careers and occupations while avoiding burdening these students with very high post secondary education costs.
The growth and adoption of new technologies and the rapid rise in international trade have created new career and employment opportunities in China as well as in the United States. Developing new education pathways and new approaches to preparing students for careers have become a urgent necessities in order to fill a growing number of jobs, employment opportunities and careers openings.
The China-America Vocational and Technical Education Council seeks to encourage Career and Technical educational institutions in the United States and China to explore new avenues of cooperation in order to meet the needs of the new generation of job seekers who need highly specialized training in order to meet the needs of employers.
